QCI Certification (Scheme launched by GOI & Ministry of Ayush) and Yoga Instructors and Teachers, Training and Opportunities 2016.
IFYP, is a maiden flagship initiative that bloomed as a NGO of all the QCI Certified Professionals from all over the country that will provide a unique platform for yoga professionals to explore potential job opportunities in the growing era of Yoga in India and abroad. The foundation of the NGO was formed during first All India Yoga Professionals Meet, AIYPM -2016 which was organised on September 10-11, 2016 at Gandhi Peace Foundation, ITO, New Delhi.
IFYP is managed by a dedicated group of volunteer committee members who make no personal gain from the work of running the association and are dedicated to yoga and its professional teaching.
The ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), GOI launched the scheme for Voluntary Certification of Yoga Professionals providing yoga lessons in collaboration with QCI. The scheme aims to certify the competence levels of yoga professionals using independent third party assessment as per international standards ISO 17024.
Around 500 yoga professionals have since registered with QCI intending to homogenise the whole chain through professionals and institutes accredited as per international standards ISO 29990 so that there is a uniformity in the entire yoga curriculum across the country and abroad.
Amid these developments many yoga professionals have been appointed as yoga instructors and teachers in India and abroad in just a span of one year.
IFYP aims to foster the global awareness and interaction among national and international yoga professionals, to have special sessions on demonstrations and training for different levels of yoga professionals with focus on competence building and quality standards and exploring growing employment opportunities in field of yoga in Schools, colleges, universities, govt. and private sector, industrial and corporate sector, hospitals, hotels, clubs and other social places.
IFYP further aims at bringing all the yoga professional on a common platform for promotion and adoption of yogic practices as primary- preventive health care initiative and an essential part of healthy lifestyle among all the alternative medicines and disciplines available throughout the globe and bringing harmony between certified yoga professionals, QCI, AYUSH and GOI and thus gaining their support to overcome potential obstacles and hinderances in fulfilling the aims of the meet.
The growing demand of yoga professionals in country and abroad is paving a way for bright future of country youth and also inflow of foreign exchange earnings.
